Connected Nottinghamshire Local Digital Roadmap

Connected Nottinghamshire began drafting the Local Digital Roadmap (LDR) in early 2016, working closely with the Sustainability & Transformation Plan (STP) team to ensure alignment with plans and all health and social care organisations. The LDR has been built on existing enthusiastic participation from organisations including; patient representatives, Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) across Nottinghamshire and Nottingham City, Hospitals (Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust), both local Authorities (Nottinghamshire County and Nottingham City Councils), Community, Mental Health and other health service provider organisations (NEMS Community Benefit Services , East Midlands Ambulance Service, Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Primary Integrated Community Services – PICS, Nottingham CityCare Partnership, Derbyshire Health United 111 and Circle partnership).

Connected Nottinghamshire’s initial LDR version was submitted in June 2016 and received helpful feedback from NHS England in shaping future thinking. The LDR continued to develop and our current version (Version 4) was completed October 2016. It was noted by NHS England that “your submission should be celebrated as an exemplar and potentially used as a blue print for others”. This feedback is testament to all the hard work of the organisations mentioned above and the commitment they have to ensure the continued successful delivery of the Nottinghamshire LDR.

The current version of the LDR document is now ready for publication. It details Nottinghamshire’s aspirational plans to meet national targets in line with the plans for 2020 and provide the capabilities needed to support the transformation of care across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire in line with the STP. All stakeholders continue to engage in progressing this work and the next version is expected to be published after March 2017. Content will be subject to change as we begin our journey and factor in the dynamic and changing technology landscape.

We would welcome feedback on the LDR. If you wish to comment please use the contact facility on this website.  Please click on the link below to access the LDR.
